WEBB Traders is a fast-growing, global proprietary trading company, driven by data and technology. We act as a market maker, using our own capital to trade on global stock and derivatives exchanges. Your role
We’re looking for an experienced engineering leader to guide the team on building our core algorithmic trading stack.
This includes:
Trading and pricing algorithms
Middleware and exchange connectivity
GUIs for stack control
Internal tools that power innovation
You’ll work closely with traders and engineers to deliver fast, scalable, and high-performance systems - and shape the foundation of our trading technology for years to come.
Requirements
What you bring to WEBB
Trading tech experience: 7+ years as a software engineer in the trading industry - you know the terrain
Leadership skills: 2+ years guiding teams and driving technical direction
C++ mastery: Expert-level coding, plus deep systems, networking, and database know-how
Impact mindset: You’ve built things that made a difference - and have the track record to prove it
Simplicity first: You keep things clean, lean, and maintainable
Curiosity that never stops: You want to understand how everything works - and make it better
